Day 1: Let the Adventure Begin!

08:30 AM - Pick Up in Whitehorse
Grab your gear, bring your excitement, and meet us in Whitehorse! It’s time to trade the city for the wild. We’ll load up the Squatch Bus, your new home for the next few days, and get ready for some serious adventure.

Prep in Whitehorse
Before we hit the road, we’ll make a quick stop to stock up on supplies, grab any last-minute necessities (because who doesn’t need a snack stash?), and make sure we’re all set for the journey. You’ll also get a rundown of the bus and what’s to come. Don’t worry, we’ve got everything you need for the perfect off-grid escape.

Road Trip to Takhini Hot Springs
Now, we’re off! Hit the road as we cruise through Yukon’s stunning scenery. The drive to Takhini Hot Springs is a scenic beauty, so make sure to snap some photos. We’ll stop for a dip in the hot springs (yes, it’s exactly as awesome as it sounds) to soak in some relaxation and get the muscles prepped for all the hiking ahead.

Set Up Camp
After our hot springs zen, we’ll make our way to the first campsite. Find your perfect spot, unwind, and get some well-deserved rest as you take in the beauty of your surroundings. The wild is calling, and it’s time to kick back and relax before the big adventures start.

Day 2: Off to the Dempster and Tombstone Adventures!

Good morning, explorers! After a hearty breakfast, we’ll jump back into the Squatch Bus and hit the road to the legendary Dempster Highway. This scenic route takes us deep into the Great White North, where the views are absolutely breathtaking. Think snow-capped mountains, vast valleys, and endless wilderness that’ll make you feel like you’re on top of the world. So, get ready for one of the best road trips of your life.

We’ll roll into Tombstone Provincial Park—our home base for the next three days. Picture towering mountain peaks, clear alpine lakes, and wide-open spaces that stretch as far as the eye can see. It’s pure, untouched Yukon. We’ll set up camp and settle in for a few days of exploring, relaxing, and, of course, soaking in all the natural beauty around us.

Once camp is set up, it’s time to explore! Whether you’re hitting the trails, taking in the jaw-dropping views, or just relaxing by a crystal-clear lake, you’re in for some serious adventure. The days here are long, so we’ve got plenty of daylight to work with. You can hike to your heart’s content or simply enjoy the serenity of the surroundings.

As evening rolls in, we’ll gather around the campfire to share stories, laughs, and maybe even a few campfire snacks. There’s something special about spending the night in the middle of the wilderness, with only the stars above you and the crackle of the fire around you. The Yukon’s summer nights are long and full of possibilities—whether you’re stargazing, chatting with your fellow adventurers, or just soaking in the peaceful quiet of the wild.

Tomorrow brings even more exploration, so get some rest and get ready for another full day of Yukon magic.

Days 3, 4 & 5: Tombstone Adventure Time!

For the next few days, we’re going all-in on exploring Tombstone Provincial Park. Get ready for epic hikes, rock climbing, and jaw-dropping views. We’ll be hitting some seriously remote spots where the only thing more stunning than the views is the fresh air.

Your local guide will lead the way, taking you through wild terrain and showing off the best of what this park has to offer. Whether you’re scaling a rocky peak for the perfect photo, hiking through alpine meadows, or just chilling by a crystal-clear lake, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into another world. The days are long in the Yukon, so we’ve got plenty of time to do it all.

Evenings are all about unwinding around the campfire, swapping stories, and enjoying the calm of the wild. These days are packed with adventure, but there’s always time to kick back and enjoy the view.

Day 6: From Tombstone to Dawson City

After a few action-packed days in the backcountry, it’s time to roll out of Tombstone Provincial Park and head to the historic Dawson City—the heart of the Klondike Gold Rush. This old town is full of stories from the late 1800s, and today it’s a quirky mix of history and small-town charm.

We’ll spend the day exploring the town, checking out historical sites, and soaking in the unique vibe. You’ll see what Dawson City looked like back in the day and what it’s become now—a cool blend of old-school history and modern-day quirks.

To top off the day, we’ll stop by a local hotel for a classic Dawson City experience: the infamous Sour Toe Cocktail. Yep, you read that right. It’s a drink with an actual toe in it, a tradition that’s been around since 1973. Don’t worry, it’s all in good fun—just another quirky part of Yukon history!

After that, we’ll head out of town, find a cozy campsite, and enjoy one last night under the stars. It’s the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable adventure in the wild.

Day 7: The Final Leg – Back to Whitehorse

After a week of epic adventures, we’ll pack up and hit the road back to Whitehorse. On the drive, we’ll reminisce about all the wild memories we’ve made, from the breathtaking Tombstone peaks to the quirky charm of Dawson City.

We’ll arrive in Whitehorse late in the evening, and when we do, we’ll drop you off wherever you need to go—whether it’s your hotel, a friend’s place, or wherever your next adventure awaits. But before we part ways, don’t forget to leave your mark on the Squatch Bus! Write a message, doodle something, or just leave your initials to become part of our adventure history.

It’s a bittersweet farewell, but your Yukon memories will stay with you forever.
